Venicile Vyapari Malayalam movie by Shafi is a fun-packed entertainer in which superstar Mammootty doing the lead role. The film will have Kavya Madhavan playing opposite Mammootty.

The story revolves around a murder mystery happened in 1980s. Pavithran (Mammootty) was once a police constable. He lost his parents in his childhood. He enters police force by chance as it is not his ambition. So he resigns this job and starts coir business at Alapuzha. Ammu (Kavya) is the leader of the coir workers. Pavithran loves Ammu, but does not reveal his love. Tamil and Telugu film actress Poonam Bajwa is also doing an important role in this film. She is reprising the role of Lakshmi, a bank manager. It is also heard that Mammootty will be seen in three different getups in this movie.

Venicile Vyapari has cinematography by Shamdat. Bijibal will compose music for the lyrics of veteran Kaithapram. This Malayalam movie is produced by Madhavan Nair under the banner of Murali Films.
