Thiruvananthapuram: The Students’ Federation of India (SFI) activists today staged a Secretariat march as a protest against the incident in which Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Radhakrishna Pillai opened fire on activists at Kozhikode Govt. engineering college on Monday.The SFI was staging demonstrations against the state government‘s decision to provide admission to Nirmal Madhav in Kozhikode Government engineering college, SFI state vice-president AA Rahim said. The admission was provided after flouting the rules, he added.
The protest march was inaugurated by RV Rajesh MLA in front of the Secretariat.
