Thiruvananthapuram: Opposition leaders met Kerala governor M O H Farooq and submitted a petition demanding judicial a probe into R Balakrishna Pillai's phone talk issue. The 8-member team, led by V S Achuthanandan, visited Raj Bhavan and submitted the petition. LDF convenor Vaikkam Viswam, C N Chandran, V P Ramakrishna Pillai, Mathew T Thomas, Surendran Pillai, Kadanapally Ramachandran and A K Saseendran were present the 8-member team.
VS, after submitting the petition, told mediapersons on Thursday that Chandy and team are insulting the Assembly by dealing with the Pillai issue. The govt is not ready to even answer opposition's demands in the House. But at the same time the govt is providing all facilities to Pillai by violating all rules. And the Opposition is seeking a judicial probe taking all this into consideration, VS said
