Kochi: Director Sibi Malayil has accused actor Rima Kallingal of disrupting the shooting of his film by skipping a day's shoot without prior notice. However, the director said that though he had shared his grouse with FEFKA and AMMA members, he had not filed any written complaint against the actor.
Apparently, Rima skipped the shooting of Siby's film 'Unnam' Sunday to attend some private function at Thiruvananthapuram, and the director got to know about this only later.
Rima's justification was that the contract she made for the particular project had expired on September 30 itself. She added that she was staying back as the crew said they would wind up the shooting within the next five days.
However AMMA secretary Idavela Babu said, "Rima told me that she had informed the production manager well in advance that she would not be available for Sunday's shoot." He added that necessary action would be taken on the issue
