Thiruvananthapuram: The teacher R Krishanakumar, from Valakam who is undergoing treatment
after being attacked by some people, today changed his earlier statement in which he denied visiting Kadakkal in Kollam.
He told DySP Shanawas and his team that he went to Kadakkal on the day he was attacked and met the astrologer. But he reiterated his earlier statement that ex-minister R Balakrishna Pillai has grudge over him and his wife.
The police also recorded the statement of his wife Gita. Both have been recorded on video too.
According to reports the police have also questioned them about their money transactions.
On Wednesday the team questioned the astrologer again who stood by his claim that the teacher had visited him. As per the astrologer they again quizzed Krishnakumar and Krishnakumar too agreed to it. The investigation team said that differences in opinion of both still prevail. The team is planning to question Geetha, Krishnakumar’s wife. Kirshnakumar would be shifted to the ward on Thursday.
