Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader LK Advani will travel on a well-equipped ‘rath’ during his anti-corruption ‘yatra’ beginning on October 11.According to the reports, Advani’s rath will be a modified luxury bus- having lift (sky lift), television and communication facilities like computer and public address system.
The bus being prepared in Pune for BJP veteran’s 12,000 km journey across 18 states will reach the venue on October 11 which is also the birth anniversary of Jayprakash Narayan.
The yatra will proceed in a convoy of 18 vehicles including an ambulance and security entourage.
The BJP has chosen the Naryan’s birthplace Sitab Diara in Bihar as the venue to launch the yatra.
The Jan Chetna Yatra will be the sixth such cross-state journey for the BJP veteran.
