Kiliroor case trial from Oct 24


Thiruvananthapuram, : The trial of Kiliroor case will start on newly inaugurated CBI Court here on Oct 24. This will be the first case to come up before the new CBI Court here.
The case relates to sexual exploitation of a girl named Shari from Kiliroor, near Kottayam, by the accused after offering her roles in television serials.
The accused in the case are are Praveen, 24, and Manoj, 19, both conductors attached to the Guruvayur depot of the Kerala State Transport Corporation (KSRTC); Latha Nair of Mallappalli; Binu alias Kochumon, 30, of Kottayam; Prasanth, 23, conductor at the KSRTC Guruvayur depot; Somanathan alias Soman, 46, of Kumali; Abdul Lathif alias Collector Lathif, 52, and V.K. Devadas, 47.
The Ernakulam CJM Court had earlier made the prime accused in the case Omanakutty an approver.
