Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala State Film Awards 2011 were announced here Thursday by Film Minister K.B. Ganesh Kumar.
"Indian Rupee" won the award for the Best Movie. The second best movie was "Ivan Mekharoopanannu".
Blessy was chosen as the Best Director for his movie "Pranayam".
Dileep bagged the Best Actor Award for his performance in the movie "Vellaripravinte Changathi " and Shweta Menon won the Best Female Actor Award for her role in the movie "Salt N' Pepper". Fahad Fazil and Nilambur Ayisha was chosen as the best male and female supporting actors.
The Best Male Singer Award 2011 went to Sudeep Kumar and the Best Female Singer Award was bagged by Shreya Ghoshal.
